📞 Call (033) 2595 1818Homoeopathy is a holistic system of medicine developed over 200 years ago by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. It works on the principle of "like cures like" — a substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can, in highly diluted form, cure similar symptoms in a sick person. Homoeopathic medicines stimulate the body's own healing mechanisms, treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms.
MHMCH Hospital runs two OPD sessions daily, Monday to Saturday:
- Morning OPD: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (All Departments)
- Afternoon OPD: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Selected Departments)
- Emergency: Open 24 × 7, including Sundays and holidays
The speed of response depends on the nature and duration of the illness. Acute conditions like fever, cold, or infections often respond within hours to a few days. Chronic conditions such as arthritis, eczema, or migraine — which have developed over years — naturally take longer to resolve completely. However, most patients notice gradual improvement in overall well-being, energy, and specific symptoms within the first few weeks of starting treatment.
Yes, in most cases homoeopathic medicines can be safely taken alongside conventional (allopathic) medications. They do not interfere chemically. However, always inform our doctors of all medicines you are currently taking so they can advise appropriately. It is important never to stop prescribed allopathic medications (for conditions like diabetes, hypertension, or thyroid) without medical guidance.
MHMCH Hospital offers a full range of in-house diagnostic services:
- X-Ray (digital)
- ECG (Electrocardiography)
- Ultrasonography — USG (Abdomen, Pelvis, Obstetric)
- Pathology — Sample Collection & Full Lab Investigation
- Eye examination
- Dental examination
Homoeopathic medicines are among the safest options available during pregnancy and for newborns, as they contain no chemical substances that could harm the mother or child. At MHMCH Hospital, our Obstetrics & Gynaecology department has extensive experience managing pregnancy-related complaints — such as nausea, anaemia, and anxiety — safely using homoeopathy alongside standard prenatal care.
Our main hospital is located at Ramchandrapur Road, P.O. Sodepur, Khardaha, Kolkata — 700110. You can reach us by local train (Sodepur Station on Sealdah–Barrackpore line) or bus. Our IPD facility is at 160 & 77, B.B. Ganguli Street, Kolkata — 700012. Call us at (033) 2595 1818 or email mhmch1@gmail.com for directions.
